About the event

The Geneva Security Forum is pleased to invite you to a conference given by Isabelle Dubois on the following theme:

“Data protection, what’s new?”

The new federal law on data protection was published in autumn 2020 and will come into force in 2022. This is an opportunity to take stock of the issues in this area, both from the point of view of the European Regulation, in force since 2018, and from the point of view of Swiss law. Isabelle Dubois will present the state of affairs in the EU and the new developments in Swiss law, with the expert support of a colleague of the Federal Commissioner.

The speakers will be on site at CCIG – Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Geneva, Boulevard du Théâtre 4, 1204, Geneva

Conference hosted and presented by:

Isabelle Dubois , President of the FGS, and Catherine Lennman , collaborator of the Federal Commissioner, responsible for international relations.

Due to the health situation, this conference will not be followed by an aperitif cocktail. The Geneva Security Forum Committee will be happy to see you there as soon as the opportunity arises again.

This conference will take place only “remotely” from the CCIG. Registered members will receive an electronic link to this conference. We thank you for registering by email with our secretariat: fgs@ccig.ch.

We thank you for your attention to this invitation and send you, Madam, Sir, our best regards.
