In order to develop a reflection on the subject, a working group was set up at the beginning of 2011 after the FGS committee accepted the concept and objectives.
Goals
Help organizations using a video surveillance system in the canton of Geneva to invest in high-performance systems, adapted to their needs, in accordance with the law and using formats and practices that can be used by the courts.
Create bridges and promote communication between all stakeholders in the public and private sectors in the field of video surveillance.
Develop a standard and best practice guides for the installation of video surveillance systems in the canton of Geneva.
